Wordpress Theme Submission to Directories and Forums

This post will be constantly updated when I find new sites that accept theme submission.

After releasing my theme, how do I promote them? One way is to submit them to the sites which accept Wordpress themes. In this post, I show you the list of the theme directories and forums that I used to submit my themes to.

Theme submission can only be done manually so you can imagine submitting to more than 100 sites will be such a tedious and time-consuming process. Ever since I found a site which offers submission service at a low price, I never want to do it myself anymore.

Good grief, it must take you almost as long to submit your themes to all these sites as it takes you to create one in the first place! lol. Those sites are lucky to have your content!

  Yes. The first theme submission took a few days to complete. But when I got familiar with the different submission methods, it is just an automatic process and took me a day to finish

  It seems as if these guys over at TemplateDrop can submit your themes to 100 websites and forums for $10. Pretty cheap and less headaches…

Awesome! I couldn’t find out how or even where to submit my new made theme to. Thanks for the links, it makes this process so much easier. A question though: do they auto accept?

  Most of them need captcha verification so it is better to manually submit to each of them.

Excellent list. I am a wordoress theme developer and always want to create some free stuffs but dont know how to promote them. but after reading all your list i have a list of all the sites where i can promote my wordpress themes.
